Today you will make your own way to the embarkation point of your cruise.

Day 2 : Portimao

The waves lap around this holiday resort on the coast of the Algarve. Head out from here to visit Cabo de Sao Vicente, the fortress of Sagres, and Lagos (additional charge). Today you will enjoy your second day at sea during your cruise.

Day 6 : Ponta Delgada, Sao Miguel Island, Azores

Sao Miguel features lush ranges of hills, mighty volcanoes, and crystal-clear mountain lakes in the middle of the Atlantic. Day 7 : Angra do Herosimo, Terciera Island, Azores

The creative power of the earth’s core is plain to see on Terceira. The untouched sides of the island, with its lakes, heathland and hot springs in the geothermal region will be revealed. Days 8 & 9 : At Sea

Today you will enjoy your third and fourth day at sea during your cruise.

Day 10 : Porto

Portugal combines spring charm with history to make a bouquet of colourful experiences. Churches and cultural monuments make Porto seem like an open-air museum. As you wander the streets of the old town or taste the local port, you will fall in love time and again with this city as you explore it at your own pace. A relaxing way to get to know the city is by exploring Porto in a tuk-tuk (additional charge). These electric vehicles will take you to all the best photo spots. Known as the birthplace of Portugal, historic Guimaraes has close connections with the origins of this nation of explorers. Day 11 : Lisbon

Enjoy what is probably the most beautiful river journey in Europe on the Tagus. Get a taste of the typical Portuguese charm on a walk through the city centre, followed by a ride on the Gloria funicular to Bairro Alto – the upper town (additional charge). Day 12 : Lisbon

After breakfast, disembark your ship before making your own way to the airport where your journey concludes.
