It serves as an expression of our commitment to protecting their private personal information, but is not a contract. This is the privacy policy of World Journeys Ltd. (referred to as “we”, “us” or “our”). World Journeys is a member of the Travel Agents Association of New Zealand (TAANZ) and participates in the TAANZ Bonding Scheme for the protection of the consumer.

What personal information do we collect?
When you use our services, fill out a digital or printed form, reply to an enquiry, subscribe to our newsletter or attend our events, we may collect your name, email address, mailing address, phone number, proof of identity, passport details, health information if required, or other details to help us provide you with better services and experiences.
Additionally, when you visit our website, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. We will retain your information for as long as necessary to help us provide our services and/or fulfil any legal, accounting or reporting requirements. How do we protect visitor information?

Transmission of information over email is not secure, and if you submit any information to us over the internet by email you do so entirely at your own risk. We cannot be responsible for any costs, expenses, loss of profits, harm to reputation, damages, liabilities or any other form of loss or damage suffered by you as a result of your decision to transmit information to us by email.

Privacy Act
The Privacy Act is a law that sets the rules for commercial email, establishes requirements for commercial messages, gives recipients the right to have emails stopped from being sent to them, and spells out penalties for violations.
We collect your email address in order to:
- Send information, respond to inquiries, and/or other requests or questions.
- Process orders and send information and updates pertaining to orders.
- We may also send you additional information related to your product and/or service.
- Market to our mailing list or continue to send emails to our clients after the original transaction has occurred.
To be in accordance with the Privacy Act we agree to the following:
- NOT use false, or misleading subjects or email addresses.
- Identify the message as an advertisement in some reasonable way.
- Include the contact address and website URL.
- Monitor third party email marketing services for compliance, if one is used.
- Honour opt-out/unsubscribe requests quickly.
- Allow users to unsubscribe by using the link at the bottom of each email.
If at any time you would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, you can follow the instructions at the bottom of each email and we will promptly remove you from ALL correspondence. Or you can also contact us for further information.
