Dorothy grew up in sunny California before moving to NZ in the early 2000s. A passion for travel has drawn her to visit fascinating and remote places across six continents. With over 20 years in the travel industry, Dorothy brings significant experience to the World Journeys team. Highlights over the years include a self-drive journey through the dramatic islands and fjords of Lofoten (Norway); experiencing the incredible dance of the northern lights (Alaska); the untamed beauty of Namibia and Botswana, and the remote Patagonian region. However, nothing compares to Japan — a destination she has visited 10 times and counting! Delicious cuisine, striking natural beauty, and hot spring onsen culture are just a few things that continue to fascinate and draw her back to Japan.
