Itinerary
Days 1 & 2 : Livingstone
On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel via road and water taxi. Explore the National Park and the Zambian side of the Victoria Falls at your leisure before enjoying a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River.
You may spend time visiting the impressive Livingstone Museum, local markets and main buildings. You can also explore the Zambezi River, the fourth longest river in Africa which provides a beautiful and exciting variety of wave boarding, bungee jumping and rafting on the white water rapids or swimming and fishing in the calmer Devils Pool on the edge of the Victoria Falls. The falls themselves provide an awe-inspiring encounter of one of the greatest curtains of falling water in the world.
Day 3 : Livingstone > Kafue National Park
Transfer to the airport and fly to Kafue National Park, a massive 22,400 km, where your Wilderness Shumba Camp is located.
Days 4 & 5 : Kafue National Park
Spend your days exploring the national park, going on game drives or simply relax and immerse yourself in nature from the comfort of your camp.
Wilderness Shumba Camp is in the far north of Zambia’s Kafue National Park, an area that is home to thousands of sable antelope and puku. The abundance of game is a natural attraction for the predators, leopards, wild dogs, cheetah and lion. Shumba Camp is a wild African experience and you are encouraged to disconnect from the modern world and be enthralled by enthusiastic and knowledgeable game rangers. At Shumba Camp you will enjoy day and night game drives, walking safaris and guided canoe and boating trips. This is an incredible area for the bird watchers, with over 400 recorded species.
Day 6 : Kafue > Lusaka
Flight to Lusaka for your onward international flight, where arrangements conclude.
