Itinerary
Day 1 : Budapest
Welcome to Budapest! Upon arrival at Budapest airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Budapest. Upon arrival, enjoy the rest of the afternoon at leisure.
The capital city of Hungary, is renowned for its beautiful architecture, rich history, and thermal baths, straddling the Danube River with its dynamic blend of Buda’s historic landmarks and Pest’s vibrant urban life.
Day 2 : Budapest
Today discover the highlights of Budapest with a private guide and immerse yourself in the city’s rich history, culture, and architectural beauty. Visit iconic landmarks such as Buda Castle, once a historical complex of Hungarian kings and royalty.
Explore the beautiful Széchenyi Chain Bridge, and the Hungarian Parliament Building. Next stop at St. Matthias Church – one of the most unique medieval churches in Europe – before heading to the Fisherman’s Bastion, known for its distinct and stunning architecture and from where you can get incredible views of the city.
In the evening, join a dinner cruise on the Danube River to take in the city’s stunning panoramic views with Hungarian folk music on board.
Day 3 : Budapest > Godollo > Szentendre > Budapest
Today you will travel to two towns nearby Budapest and learn more about Hungarian history and culture.
Godollo offers a glimpse into royal history, with the majestic Gödöllő Palace, once the summer residence of Queen Elisabeth of Hungary, standing as a testament to imperial elegance. Continuing on to Szentendre, a charming riverside town, you’ll wander through cobbled streets lined with colourful Baroque buildings, art galleries, and quaint cafés. The blend of history, culture, and scenic beauty makes this excursion an unforgettable escape from the bustle of the capital.
Day 4 : Budapest > Pecs
This morning take a private transfer to Budapest train station and embark on a short train ride to Pecs, a vibrant city in southern Hungary, known for its rich history, diverse culture, and stunning architecture. Upon arrival in Pecs, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 5 : Pecs
Embark on a private walking tour of Pecs, where you will explore the historic Bishop’s Palace and the fascinating Early Christian Necropolis – once an ancient Roman cemetery and a recognised UNESCO World Heritage site.

Day 6 : Pecs > Siklós > Villány > Pecs
Private tour from Pécs to the picturesque town of Siklós, where you will explore the medieval Siklós Castle, offering stunning views and a rich history. Day 7 : Pecs
Today you will be transferred to Pecs train station where arrangements have concluded.
