The Sacred Valley of the Incas is an area of extraordinary beauty, situated around an hour’s drive from Cuzco. An advantage of staying at the Explora Sacred Valley Hotel is that you are nearly 600 metres lower than Cuzco and acclimatization to altitude is much easier at these levels. You will not notice the higher altitude by the time you return to the city. The hotel contains 44 spacious and well-appointed rooms and six suites located in one of the region’s most remote and ancient corn plantations close to the Urquillos village. It is designed in line with its surroundings, generating a dialogue with the high Andean mountains as well as the surrounding plantations that are still being harvested by townspeople today. Explora Sacred Valley is renowned for its fine cuisine, featuring both international and local dishes.
