Day 1 : Belgrade

Arrive in Belgrade, once the capital of the former republic of Yugoslavia. You will be met and privately transferred to your hotel.

Day 2 : Belgrade > Novi Sad > Belgrade

Belgrade is a city where Sava River meets Danube River. Full of controversy between socialist blocks, Ottoman relics and Austro-Hungarian architecture, it represents the cultural, scientific and administrative centre of the country. Enjoy a stroll along the Knez Mihailov boulevard and visit one of the numerous museums. In your free time, have a drink on one of the rafts docked on the Danube river.

After your city tour, your local guide will escort you to the city of Novi Sad, the capital of the autonomous province of Vojvodina. Once an important trading and manufacturing centre, Novi Sad has earned the nickname of the Serbian Athens. Overnight in Belgrade.

Day 3 : Belgrade > Skopje

Today leave Belgrade and head to Skopje, Macedonia’s largest city. Skopje has a genuine historic core, Ottoman and Byzantine sights are focused on the city’s old Turkish bazaar Carsija, bordered by a 15th century stone bridge and Tvrdina Kale Fortress, the city’s guardian since the 5th century. Visit the Mustafa Pasha mosque and Mother Teresa house during the city tour with your local guide. Overnight in Skopje.

Day 4 : Skopje > Ohrid

After breakfast, depart for the lakeside resort of Ohrid. Upon arrival, meet with your local guide for a walk through the cobblestone streets of the old town. Visit the Church of St Sofia and St Naum Monastery, notable for its gold plated icons. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Ohrid.

Day 5 : Ohrid > Tirana

Today travel to Tirana for a walking tour, seeing the Skanderbeg Square, the Mosque of Et’hemBey, the clock tower, the statue of G. K. Skanderbeg and the Palace of Culture. You will also visit the National History Museum with a mosaic on its facade portraying Albanian history. Overnight in Tirana.

Day 6 : Tirana > Kruje > Budva

Today stop in Kruje on the way to Budva, a small coastal town in Montenegro. This afternoon explore the city with your local guide. Overnight in Budva.

Day 7 : Budva > Kotor > Dubrovnik

The first stop today will be in the charming town of Kotor. Venetian rule, Ottoman rule, Habsburgs and Napoleonic rule have left their marks in the town’s architecture, surrounded by city walls and fortifications. Your city tour takes you past the Maritime Museum, the Cathedral of St Triphon and the church of St Nicholas.

The next stop will be Perast, where you will visit a small island with a church dedicated to Our Lady of the Rocks. Continue your journey to Dubrovnik.

Day 8 : Dubrovnik

Discover the charming city of Dubrovnik on a walking tour. Surrounded by ramparts and fortresses, this ancient town is a treasure trove of architectural and cultural masterpieces.

Day 9 : Dubrovnik

Transfer to Dubrovnik port or airport where arrangements end.
