Itinerary
Day 1 : Munich
Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of your day at leisure to relax or explore the city on your own.
Day 2 : Munich
Today you may embark on a culinary tour. Activities available: culinary tour at Munich’s famous markets (viktualienmarkt), where you will get a taste of Bavaria while learning about local history and the vibrant culture and flavours of popular sites in Munich. Or you can join an immersive beer tour, including a visit of the Beer and Oktoberfest Museum, where you’ll learn about the rich history of Bavaria’s brewing traditions, followed by a visit of the Hofbräuhaus, offering a unique glimpse into one of Munich’s most famous beer halls.
Day 3 : Munich
Enjoy the morning at leisure. In the afternoon you will experience a baking workshop with master local baker and learn to make traditional pretzels. The workshop ends with the tasting of the freshly baked pretzels served with butter.
Day 4 : Munich > Garmisch-Partenkirchen > Fussen
Today your adventure through the scenic southwest of Germany begins as your private driver-guide waits for you in the hotel lobby. Along the way, your driver-guide will give information and share insights of the region. Head southwest towards the stunning Bavarian Alps, with a stop in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, the famous ski resort town nestled at the foot of the mountains. Take the cable car up to the top of Zugspitze, Germany’s highest peak, offering spectacular panoramic views of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Continue your journey to Füssen, set amid beautiful Alpine scenery.
Day 5 : Fussen > Neuschwanstein > Oberammergau > Fussen
Today, step into the fairytale world of Neuschwanstein Castle, the iconic masterpiece of King Ludwig II. This world-famous castle inspired Walt Disney’s Sleeping Beauty Castle and is known for its lavish interiors and breathtaking views. Next, visit Linderhof Palace, another of Ludwig II’s residences, known for its beautiful gardens and intricate Rococo design. The day continues with a stop in Oberammergau, a charming village renowned for its beautifully painted frescoed houses and its world-famous Passion Play, held every 10 years. Return to your hotel for a relaxing evening.
Day 6 : Fussen > Lake Constance > Titisee, Black Forest
Today you will leave Füssen behind as you journey westward towards the enchanting Black Forest. En route, stop in the lovely town of Lindau, located on an island in the shimmering waters of Lake Constance. A short guided walk through the town reveals its medieval architecture, including the harbour’s famous lighthouse and Bavarian Lion statue. After enjoying Lindau’s lakeside charm, continue to your hotel near the serene Titisee Lake.
Day 7 : Titisee > Freiburg, Black Forest > Titisee
Today, explore the vibrant city of Freiburg, famous for its medieval old town and stunning Freiburg Minster, an impressive Gothic cathedral with one of the tallest spires in Europe. Your driver-guide will take you on a short walking tour through its charming cobbled streets, past the colorful Münsterplatz market square and historical landmarks like the Schwabentor and Martinstor city gates. After soaking in the local history and culture, return to your hotel.
Day 8 : Titisee > Baden Baden, Black Forest
Embark on a scenic journey through the Black Forest, starting at the serene Lake Titisee and ending in the charming spa town of Baden-Baden. As you travel through this picturesque region, there are opportunities to visit some of the Black Forest’s most iconic sights, such as the stunning Triberg Waterfalls, the worlds largest cuckoo clock and the Vogtsbauernhof Open-Air Museum, where you can explore historic farmhouses. You might also stop at quaint villages, sample local specialties like Black Forest cake, or enjoy scenic viewpoints along the way. The tour concludes in Baden-Baden, known for its thermal baths and elegant atmosphere.
Day 9 : Baden Baden > Heidelberg > Frankfurt
Today travel to Heidelberg, one of Germany’s most romantic and historically rich cities. Take a guided walk through its picturesque old town, home to the impressive Heidelberg University, the oldest in Germany, and the scenic Philosophers’ Walk along the Neckar River. Visit the majestic Heidelberg Castle, a partially-ruined Renaissance fortress overlooking the city, and learn about its storied past. In the afternoon, continue to Frankfurt for your overnight.
Day 10 : Frankfurt
After breakfast you will be transfer to Frankfurt Airport where arrangements conclude.
