Day 1: Belgrade On arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
Day 2: Belgrade With a 7,000 year old history, Belgrade has plenty of intrigue. Visit the Kalemegdan Fortress, dramatically situated at the joining of the Sava and Danube Rivers, Republic Square and Mihajlova Street, Saint Sava Temple, and Tito's Memorial. Dinner tonight is in the old Bohemian quarter of Skadarlija.
Day 3: Belgrade > Montenegro > Dubrovnik Take a short flight to Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro. Continue by coach to Cetinje, visiting the Cetinje Museum before driving the spectacularly steep road to the Bay of Kotor, the deepest fjord in Southern Europe. Finally, head into Croatia's city of Dubrovnik.
Day 4: Dubrovnik A walking tour of Old Dubrovnik includes the Rector's Palace, Bell Tower Clock, Orlando's Column and Sponza Palace. See the Dominican and Franciscan Monasteries and one of the oldest pharmacies in the world.
Day 5: Dubrovnik > Split Travel along the Adriatic coast to Split. A city tour includes the historic inner city, built around the Roman Emperor Diocletian's Palace, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site. See the remnants of Split's Roman heritage, its Renaissance and Gothic structures, Jupiter's Temple, the Peristyle and the Cathedral.
Day 6: Split > Trogir > Plitvice Head to Trogir, the centre of artistic activities with scholars and painters from around the world. Turn inland and travel to Plitvice Lakes National Park. Enjoy a walking tour in the incredible scenery of this natural wonder of 16 terraced lakes.
Day 7: Plitvice > Opatija > Bled Free time in Opatija before visiting the subterranean cave at Postojna. Continue to Bled, beautifully set in the Julian Alps.
Day 8: Bled Visit Bled town, the lake shore and stunning Bled Castle, perched on a cliff, high above the lake.
Day 9: Bled > Ljubljana > Zagreb Travel to Slovenia'a capital, Ljubljana for a walking tour of the Central Market, Three Bridges, Baroque Town Hall, and Robba's Fountain. Then, on to Zagreb, the capital of Croatia.
Day 10: Zagreb This morning, tour the historic Upper Town, St Mark's Church, St. Catherine's Church, the Cathedral, Parliament, and the Government Palace. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 11: Zagreb Transfer to the airport.
