Included activities: Early morning and late afternoon game drives that continue after nightfall, interpretive nature walks, and big game viewing walks that track elephant, buffalo and rhino. At an extra cost: Specialist walking safaris, photographic and private safaris, rhino notching experience, scenic helicopter flight over Blyde River Canyon, and the Ngala Treehouse experience Children: Children are welcome at the lodge. No children under 16 are permitted on Walking Safaris, and children 5 years and younger cannot participate in game drives. Children aged 6 to 11 permitted on game drives at the lodge manager's discretion.

Nestled between the dense riverine forest and the sandy bed of the Timbavati lies the sophisticated Ngala Tented Camp. Chic and contemporary, the camp comprises just nine intimate and luxurious tented suites, each set on raised platforms and cleverly designed to blend into the riverside trees. Each suite has an en suite bathroom, swirling overhead fan, air conditioning, outdoor showers, snug electric blankets for winter and private wooden decks.
Mature indigenous trees form a cool canopy overhead and elegant guest areas overlook the seasonal Timbavati River.
