Day 1: Palermo Transfer from the airport to your hotel in the historic centre of Palermo , close to Teatro Politeama.
Day 2: Palermo Tour the historic city, capital of ancient Sicily. Colonized by the Phoenicians, Sicily boasts a rich 3,000 years of history.
Day 3: Monreale & Cefalu Monreale is famous for its XII Century cathedral decorated with Byzantine mosaics. Cefalu is considered one of the most beautiful villages in Italy.
Day 4: Palermo > Giare The day is dedicated to Greek temples of Agrigento and the Archaeological Park at Selinunte, the two largest archaeological areas of the Mediterranean .
Day 5: Giare > Ragusa Visit Villa Romana del Casale and Donna Fugata Castle before heading to the baroque town of Ragusa.
Day 6: Ragusa > Noto > Siracusa Visit Noto, a UNESCO World Heritage site visiting the Roman Villa Del Tellaro en route with its mosaic floors adorned with geometric designs, hunting scenes, erotic scenes and a story taken from Homer's Iliad: Achilles delivering the body of Hector to Priam,
Day 7: Siracusa At leisure. Perhaps visit the "Neapolis": the Greek Theatre, Grotto and the Roman Amphitheatre before making your way across to Ortigia Island, the most ancient part of the city.
Day 8: Siracusa > Taormina Transfer to Taormina. At leisure to perhaps visit of the Greek-Roman Theatre , or the historic centre. Optional : excursion to Mount Etna . the highest active volcano in Europe.
Day 9 Taormina Transfer to Catania airport
