Day 1: Venice Arrival and transfer by water taxi to your hotel located on the Grand Canal.

Day 2: Venice Time in the morning to explore at leisure, before a half day guided walking tour of Venice including the Piazza San Marco, Doges Palace, Bridge of sighs and of course the Rialto Bridge.

Day 3: Venice Day at leisure - you may want to visit the Laguna Islands (Murano, Burano and Torcello).

Day 4: Venice > Florence Private transfer by water taxi to Venice train station for travel by fast train to Florence.

Day 5: Florence Enjoy a half day private guided tour including the Piazza della Signoria, the Dome, Piazza Santa Croce, the Old Bridge and the Accademia Gallery.

Day 6: Chianti wineries Travel through the Chianti hills including a stop at a flagship historic wine cellar and its olive mill for a wine & oil tasting. Continue travelling on to your Relais in San Casciano Val di Pesa.

Day 7: Pienza & Montalcino Travel by car with an English speaking driver-guide this morning to the Orcia Valley and Pienza, a wonderful Renaissance jewel where you will enjoy a cheese tasting and a light lunch. In the afternoon you will drive to Montalcino for a visit and wine tasting.

Day 8: Siena & San Gimignano Your full day private sightseeing today includes lunch at an organic farm near Siena. In the afternoon visit San Gimignano a UNESCO world heritage site famous for its towers. Wander the narrow streets, learning about the art, history and local gourmet products including a wine tasting at an historic local vineyard.

Day 9: Cortona This morning transfer by minivan to Cortona one of the oldest hill towns and best-preserved Etruscan cities in Tuscany, In the afternoon relax and enjoy the magnificent views of vineyards, olive groves and Lake Trasimeno.

Day 10: Umbria wineries & Rome Travel by car this morning to Rome stopping enroute for a wine tasting at a renowned Montefalco winery.

Day 11: Rome Enjoy a half day private guided visit to St Peter's Basilica, the Vatican Museum and Sistine Chapel (reservation included to skip the line).

Day 12: Rome Special half day tour of ancient Rome with a chef who will lead you on a visit with tastings to the historic shops of Testaccio, Trastevere, Pantheon and Ghetto.

Day 13: Rome Free day to relax and explore at your own pace.

Day 14: Pompeii > Amalfi Coast Transfer to Rome train station for travel by fast train to Naples where you will be met on arrival and taken to Pompeii for short private guided tour, before continuing to Positano and your accommodation with a sea view.

Day 15: Amalfi Coast Villages Today you will enjoy a private excursion by car to the enchanting Costiera villages in the green heart of the Amalfi coast with centuries old vineyards and lovely villages.

Day 16: Positano Your tour concludes today.
