Travel farther into Kenai Fjords National Park than with any other cruise and visit the magnificent Northwestern Fjord, home to three amazing tidewater glaciers and numerous alpine glaciers. The Park boasts abundant wildlife, alpine and tidewater glaciers and breathtaking scenery. This tour will also take you to Denali National Park, home to bears, moose, caribou, Dall sheep and other wildlife. White water rafting down the Nenana River, helicopter flightseeing over the Park or hiking are optional extras.

Day 1: Anchorage Arrival Upon arrival in Anchorage transfer at your own cost to your accommodation. The remainder of the day is at leisure to enjoy the sights.

Overnight at Hilton Anchorage Hotel - Standard Room

Day 2: Floatplane to Redoubt Bay Bear Viewing (L) Enjoy a half day guided day tour with the opportunity to view Alaska's black and brown bears in their natural habitat. You'll fly by float-plane, 70 miles southwest of Anchorage to the entrance of Lake Clark Wilderness Preserve, site of Redoubt Bay Lodge to view resident brown bears up close from one of the lodge's covered pontoon boats.

Day 3: Anchorage > Girdwood - Glacier Dog Sled Helicopter Tour This morning, board a motorcoach to Girdwood This scenic journey takes you along Cook Inlet and into the glacier-filled Chugach Mountains. This is where your next adventure begins. A helicopter ride, a glacier landing & dog sledding on snow in the summer in Alaska... there is no better way to see Alaska than from the air, and there's no better Alaskan activity than dog sledding. Returning to the heliport you will be transfered just up the road to Alyeska Resort. The rest of the day is at leisure to explore this scenic alpine resort and we have included air tram tickets for the ride to the peak of Alyeska.

Day 4: Girdwood > Seward (L) Mid day join your coach for a short drive to your stop for lunch then on to visit the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Centre, which provides care and rehabilitation for injured and orphaned wildlife. Here you can safely get close, observe, and photograph some of Alaska's land animals: moose, bison, elk, deer, caribou, bears, muskox, small mammals, and birds of prey. Lastly, stop at Exit Glacier if time allows. An eight mile drive off the main road reveals a spectacular vantage point; a short and easy walk provides a view of a magnificent glacier.

Day 5: Northwestern Fjord Cruise (B,L) Today we have arranged for you to take an all-day Kenai Fjords National Park Cruise. Travel farther into Kenai Fjords National Park than with any other cruise and visit the magnificent Northwestern Fjord, home to three amazing tidewater glaciers and numerous alpine glaciers. The Park boasts abundant wildlife, alpine and tidewater glaciers and breathtaking scenery.(A continental breakfast & deli-style lunch is included onboard)

Overnight at Seward Windsong Lodge - Standard Room

Day 6: Seward > Talkeetna Mid-morning, board a scheduled motorcoach to Talkeetna - your driver will give you some history of the area along the way. Stop in Anchorage and have approximately 90 minutes for lunch (on your own, not included) before continuing to Talkeetna.

Overnight at Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge - Guest Lodge Room

Day 7: Talkeetna > Denali National Park Entrance (L) This morning take the Denali Star, the Alaska Railroad's flagship train, in the Goldstar Railcar to Denali National Park. The afternoon is open for optional activities such as white water rafting down the Nenana River, helicopter flightseeing over the Park, land on a glacier, or hiking.

Overnight at Grande Denali Lodge - Standard Room

Day 8: Denali Back Country Adventure (Coach/Bush Plane Flight) This full-day narrated coach trip explores the entire 148km /92mi of the restricted Denali Park Road. Your driver-guide will help in the search for bear, moose, caribou, Dall sheep and other wildlife. Lunch & snacks are included on this full day journey and while at the Lodge you can take a nature walk or try panning for gold. You will return to the park entrance via a flightseeing tour in a small bush plane.

Overnight at Grande Denali Lodge - Standard Room

Day 9: Denali National Park Entrance > Fairbanks (D) This morning is open for optional activities. After lunch (not included), take the shuttle to the Alaska Railroad Station and board the Denali Star Train in the Goldstar Railcar to Fairbanks. Enjoy the late afternoon scenery as you travel north to Fairbanks.
