A magnificent tour through Tibet. Visit Lhasa's cardinal landmark - the incredible 'Potala Palace'. This massive 13 storey building used to be the former winter abode for the Dalai Lama. As the nation's supreme architectural relic, the palace dates back to 7th century and looks magnificent both up close and from afar.
Sera Monastery is another highlight unveiled. See the revered religious structure Tibet-Jokhang Temple and Norbulingkha, the summer palace of the Dalai Lama. Samye Monastery is believed to be Tibet's first monastery, built between AD775 and AD779. The original building is no longer intact but the monastery has been rebuilt and remains the symbol of Tibet's national identity.
Drive along lakes and through impressive mountain scenery to the Tashilhunpo Monastery, current home of Tibet's Panchen Lama.
